Celebrating Mrs. VanDuren on National Principal's Day

On Friday, May 1, our school community came together to celebrate National Principals Day and honor the incredible leadership of Mrs. VanDuren.

Students filled the sidewalk with colorful chalk messages expressing their gratitude and appreciation, creating a vibrant display of kind words that brightened her day. Throughout the morning and afternoon, teachers kept Mrs. VanDuren smiling with a playful activity, each one placing a quirky, unexpected object on her desk and turning her workspace into a delightful treasure hunt of surprises.

But the highlight of the day was undoubtedly the life-size portrait of her that students created together. Each student added their signature, creating a meaningful keepsake that symbolizes the entire school community's admiration and respect.

Mrs. VanDuren's dedication, vision and compassionate leadership make our school a place where students and staff thrive. Days like this are a small way to say thank you for all you do. You truly deserve this special recognition!
