The Utica Public Library hosted a field trip to Mohawk Valley Community College's Jorgensen Center for Utica City School District students in grades 5 and 6. Students had the opportunity to hear author Jacqueline  Woodson share about her career, and ask questions!

The Board of Education meeting on June 11th, 2024, was a night of recognition for both Board of Education members and UCSD students.  Dr. Kathleen Davis, Interim Superintendent of Schools, recognized Board of Education members Danielle Padula and Tennille Knoop.
